ALMOND MEAL FLOUR

Almond Flour is made by using whole blanched almonds that are ground into a fine meal or flour.  It can be used by itself or combined with several gluten free flours to make gluten free baked goods more nutritious and flavorful. 

·        Gluten Free, Wheat Free

o       High in protein, fiber, folic acid, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin E. 

·        Offers light texture to gluten free baking

·        When used in combination with other gluten free flours, the almond meal does not overpower the flavor of gluten free baked goods.  Instead it offers a subtle touch that enhances the flavor and texture of baked goods.  Even those who don’t like nuts will like Gluten Free Mama’s Rice Almond Meal Flour. 

How should Almond Meal be stored?

·        Almond Meal Flour should be stored in a sealed airtight container.

o       Extend the shelf life and freshness by storing in refrigerator or freezer.

Gluten Free Mama’s Rice Almond Flour

·        Gluten Free Mama’s Rice Almond Blend Flour(Mama’s Blend) is the perfect combination of five gluten free flours; White Rice Flour, Tapioca Starch, Potato Starch, Sweet Rice Flour, Almond Meal Flour. 

·        Use this in your favorite baked goods for exceptional flavor and light texture. 

·        Works great with all gluten free baked goods, as a breading and even in gravies. 

·        In your favorite gluten free cake recipes reduce the flour by ¼ cup. 

·        You will need to add xanthan gum when using this flour. 

o       Use ¼ tsp for pancakes and waffles

o       Use 1 to 1 ½ tsp for cookies, brownies, muffins and scones

o       Use 1 ½ to 2 tsp for breads
