Gluten Free Candy List 2015

Mama's GF Candy List What candy is gluten free?  Almost every post with a recipe that myself and other bloggers make that have candy in them, there are intense debates on what candy is gluten free and what candy isn’t.  Manufacturers can change ingredients at anytime and we may not know when they do, so ALWAYS check labels.  In addition, you may find candies that have gluten free ingredients but list that they are manufactured on the same lines as wheat.  Being a manufacturer and touring many facilities, I know that manufacturers have astringent cleaning guidelines for their machines between products and also how often they do these cleanings.  Most likely, the products are safe, however manufacturers have to list that they could contain trace amounts of gluten.  A lot of times you will even see a warning like this and there are no gluten containing ingredients even processed in their facilities. It is up to you and your family to decide if you want to eat candies not processed on gluten only lines.  It truly depends on what you feel most comfortable with and how sensitive your celiac eater is to trace amounts of gluten.  If a product is listed gluten free it doesn’t mean it is certified gluten free.  Soon anyone who labels gluten free has to prove certification, but not yet.  So look for certification logos from CSA, GFCO, or GIG.

Remember always check labels and when in doubt, call the company!  Company representatives are always happy to answer your questions.

Mama has found 4 lists for you from trusted sources!  We put these together to Help you. We hope this helps you navigate the holidays and candy buying much easier!   We are working direct with manufacturers to get you official direct from the them pictures and listings, coming soon.

Thanks so much for putting this list together! On the rare occasion that I allow myself a treat with sugar, I certainly want to be sure it is gluten-free. <3
